Hi everyone. I had a deposit for a new 2009 Prius and was still waiting, probably had two months to go . Another dealer in the area advertised a few 2008 leftovers that they were selling under MSRP. So my husband and I took a ride and they happened to have the color I wanted (magnetic gray metallic). So we drove home with one that day!!

I absolutely love the car!! I got 50.1MPG on my first tank and I'm averaging 50.8 on this second tank. It becomes a little game to see how much higher I can bring that number up. I hate it if my husband takes the car because he messes up my MPG!! From what I understand, once the car breaks in, I will get even better mileage, unbelievable!! I do think it will drop a little in the next few months once the cold weather really kicks in.

I do have one question though. When my fuel guage got down to one bar, I did not see a low fuel warning light. I drove for a little bit and still didn't see one, so I got nervous and decided to fill up. Is there a low fuel warning light? Most cars have them, I'd be a little surprised if this didn't.
