I may have discovered a way to get a Prius much faster -- buy yours in aqua ice.<br><br>I got mine yesterday (yeah!!) My time from order to delievery was less than two months. My salesman told me that they have white ones that were ordered before mine that are still long from being delivered.<br><br>One of the salesman at the dealership told me that in Japan, all the cards produced for their domestic use are aqua. This would lead me to belive that I received my car quickly because they have lots of bodies built in aqua for use in Japan, and as a result had one available for me.<br><br>BTW, I love the color. It comes across as a bluish silver, but varies depending on the light conditions. I also think it will hide the abundant pollen we have here in the Willamette Valley in Oregon better than the darker colors would. :)

So were you driving around in Downtown Portland, Oregon, today? We had a close encounter with an aqua just like ours. It was close to Wells Fargo Center.<br><br>Actually the pollen kind of trashes the shine. Need to wash it.

Nope. Wasn't me. I'm down in the Eugene/Springfield area. <br><br>Funny thing though. Today another aqua Prius crossed my path in east Springfield. (I waved, of course :) )<br><br>First thing I did yesterday was put a coat of Turtle Wax on it. Don't remember the exact brand name, but it was safe for clear coat. Made the finish feel a lot smoother. Wanted to make sure to get that extra coat of protection on there before I hit the road.<br><br>BTW, I absolutely love this car! I think it's quieter and has acceleration pretty close to the Chysler LHS I'm leaving behind in the stone ages.

A way to get a Prius even faster is to go to a dealer where one is sitting on the lot for anybody who wants to buy it. I saw a new white one this time last week at a Toyota dealership in Alabama.

I think there are a lot of Japanese who would disagree that there is no such thing as Japan. I even had a business trip there. Someone sure went to a lot of trouble to build a fake Tokyo for me to see!<br><br>Burns
