I saw an add for a Toyota Highlander in a government auction paper. Have any of you ever dealt with that? These that were listed were SUPER cheap. If you have had an experience, please let me know. These were Toyotas that I could actually afford.

This is a very good question and I hope someone here has the answer. I see ads in the paper that do not seem on the up and up, but have heard about govt auctions all the same.

k gigi... Looks like you were right. My uncle says that these cars are normally cars that have been seized from a person who was put in jail or something from a crime scene or drug bust.... Don't really make them sound so good. Just think how rough that those cars have been drove etc. Don't think its a good idea now.. Darn those were really affordable too.

I would be very careful with those government auctions. If you go request to see identification to make sure you are dealing with legitimate people.
