G'day All, I have a Garmin GPS II Plus and was looking at getting some mapping software that I can put onto my laptop and take it offroad with me. I want to be able to GPS track my position in real time so I can physically see where I am on the map at anytime and be able to record my position. I would like to have detailed contour maps with 4x4 tracks Where do I start what programs are around?? I was hoping this project wouldn't be too expensive... Any ideas? Would love to hear from you...
