Hello all,
I drive a 93 corolla, and have had zero problems with the car so far. recently however, there is a grinding noise and very harsh vibrations (whole car vibrates at high frequency) when i make a right turn. To be specific, IT ONLY happens when i do the following maneuvers:
1. ACCELERATING to get on a highway ramp CURVING TO THE RIGHT (i.e a clockwise circling ramp).
2. While on the highway at 65mph, following a right turning curve WHILE accelerating.
I figured out that if i am NOT accelerating (i.e coasting) while negotiating a right turning curve at any speed, there are no problems.
I researched this problem, and wonder if the CV joint on the drivers side (the one on the front driver's side) is bad. I checked the CV boots, and they appear to be no problems with them at all. Any help/comments would be really appreaciated.
Thanks so much! (IMG:

P.S: My car has power steering but no cruise cotnrol.
