Hi liebe011,

Sure you are a Toyota fans, I alway wanted to find a owner of Caldina gt-4 to share their experience....I'm just wondering how much you bought your gt-4? mind sharing some experience of your cald, the performance, handling and the fuel consumption....how's the built quality and any minor or major problems so far. I'm very keen in getting one soon but worried bout the consumption and maintainence. Appreciate if you could share some advice

cheers, Andrew Hew

Question...What where your dyno results. I also doing a modifcation project on my caldina. I added a water/methanol injection kit, blow off valve and boost controller and guages.

I have a bov and it sounds awesome. Running an HKS blow off...you might want to try that one

Hi guys,

BOV... b4 u decide to install after market BOV, please make sure you know the original BOV setting & type of system for the Caldina.... if is an open loop type or close loop type.

By right ... the original BOV is more then enough to handle the back pressure from the turbo inducer when the throttle body is closed.

To low of a BOV setting will make the system creep on boost & to high setting will give back pressure at the inducer ... you dont want this to happen as it will shatter the inducer or lost of boost pressure.... it CAN even effect the FC.

Personaly I would stick to Original BOV as I did with my Toyota Glanza V turbo till today ... is 1997 model.

You can always ask your mechanic about it & get them to explain further about it.

Caldina GT-4 ... such a lovely wagon.
