Hello,

I am replacing the cylinder head in my Hilux Surf and I cannot find a concise number for the proper torque that I should be using on the main bolts. I've seen/heard people say anything from 54 to 96 foot pounds.

Might anyone here have any insight into this? Please let me know, it's the only thing holding me back from completing the assembly.

Thanks!

You need to tighten them to 38NM then 78NM then 90deg and then another 90deg.
