Ok, I tried to locate the message thinking I may have read the message wrong, but I can't find the message.<br><br>Who wrote the message regarding the auto headlight shutoff? Was the car the US version of the Prius? I tested this feature this morning. Shutting off the car with the headlights on does not shutoff the lights. Removing the keys from the ignition does not turn off the lights. Would have been nice to have this feature seeing how the battery being drained is such an issue.<br><br>Tom

On my three toyotas, the lights turn off when I open the driver's door. It only took me 5 years to figure this out. You are ahead of the game.

Sure do, since the switch stays in the "ON" position. It is a cheap DRL mode. Recently though, I sat outside in the car during my son's trumpet lesson and ran down the battery in my 94 Corolla.<br><br>Let us know if the Lights Off system works the same way.<br><br>Dave
