Everytime I turn on the heater, it cloud up my windshield and I smell the antifreeze. I think, the leakeage in the heater core. How do I remove the heater core? Do I have to remove a dash panel in order to remove the heater core? I'm looking a repair manual step by step how to remove the heater core.

You have to pull your dash back to get at the heater core. It's not that hard to do, just time consuming.

Once you can get at the core, you will need a special tool that disconnects pressure lines. I see that you're in Canada....good. Princess Auto has these for real cheap ($10).

If you go to Canadian Tire, ask if they've got a Haynes manual for a '96 Tercel (just phone their parts dept). I can't find one on line....but then I never looked for more than 30 secs.
