Hi,

My 94 Tercel just failed a smog emmisions test due to high HC's with Measured value of 171 as opposed to the Max allowed 100 at an RPM of 679. HC at RPM of 2580 were 42.

All the other numbers else seems to be good.

I just spent about $800 on it (one month back) getting the front brakes, axle, cap rotor etc. I know the transmission fluid had some leakage immediately after the repairs and now the car has started making a loud noise while driving.

Please guide.
