Hey all,
A while back my check engine light blinked on and i noticed that my car chokes and sputters (mostly when idling), and also has acceleration problems, so me and my step dad went out and bought all new spark plugs and hoses. It fixed the problem for a little while then it began again, when we opened up the distributer cap we notticed loose copper wire collecting there and believe thats causing a short, we removved the copper and bam, worked fine, for a while, then it began again. we looked to the distrubiter cap and lo and behold more copper wire.
any ideas?
