I have a 99 GS400 with 16" wheels. The stock size is 225/55-16. I don't like this size because the tire is narrower than the wheel and makes the wheels extremely prone to curb rash. Has anyone used a wider tire with success? I was hoping someone is using something like a 245/50. The tire rack rep said that anything wider than 235/50-16 would rub against the fenders. They've been wrong before so I thought I would ask the group... Please post your suggestions or email me at hhogetts@... Thanks, Hunt
