Hi guys, I have a 100 series GXL auto petrol.
It currently has a spun bigend bearing on number 6 where it ran out of oil.

The thing used a fair bit of oil but only had 130000 km on it.
I have heard other owners say that their 100 series Crusiers use oil as well.
My question is, Do other forum forum users suffer this problem and are there ring sets available that don't use oil
Or: Is it best to let them use the oil as this was the way ithey were designed.

Now for the big one, I need a to buy a reconditioned short motor for it.
Anyhow,
1) I need to find a reputable supplier in greater Sydney area for a short motor. (Ill go further if need be)
2) I am concerned about the future oli usage in a reco short motor.

Would appreciate any help in finding a short engine supplier that other forum users have had a good experience with.

Thanks guys, glen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gitara.gif)
