Can someone help me out here, just bought this 92 Tercel and as I was driving home from picking it up the check engine light appeared. can anyone help me out here maybe tell me what took look for, or what to check. Maybe one of the sensors went out idk. Please help asap.

first things first, spend the 20 bucks and get a Haynes book for the tercel, its well worth it!! it will show you how to jump a wire in your diagnostic port to read the engine codes. it's simple, and will save you potentially hundreds of bucks.
