Hello. I am new to this site and therefore my main goal is learning how to navigate as well as communicate with other members about their experiences with Toyota vehicles. Anyway, I live in the Chicago area and own three Toyotas: 2002 Sienna, 2005 Camry, 1996 Corolla Wagon. Needless to say, I am a huge fan of their design, reliability, serviceability, and dependability. Recently, my daughter was involved in an accident at an intersection where the other driver failed to yield and luckily all that happened is that the bumper on the Corolla Wagon broke. She hit the brakes prior to the intersection, so all that was really damaged was the bumper and nothing else. The other insured driver's insurance company paid for repairing the bumper. We had been planning to sell the car for quite a while and am wondering what tips I might be able to get from Toyotafans. net. now that it is repaired.

Other than this bumper being replaced, there have been no other accidents with this car and I have every single service record for this car. I am a fastidious record-keeper in general! I have kept up with all servicing with the vehicle and she has proved to be an incredibly fun car to drive and so very reliable. Everyone in the family wants to drive this car as it is so peppy and maneuverable, an excellent hauler and overall just great car, plus there is great sentimental value involved too! The body has its fair share of scratches and the driver-side door has a long scratch on it as well as the fender by the door. We never had body work done there since it had no effect on the mechanics of the car. It has about 108,000 miles.

I have checked Edmunds.com about what price range to start at and will list with Craigslist since in my town we are not allowed to post "For Sale" signs in our cars parked on the street without risking getting a ticket. In sum, I am wondering if a replaced bumper and bumper cover is going to be a problem when selling the car as well as the fact that the body is only in fair shape (fair share of scratches and nicks), not pristine obviously. Even though the auto body shop is putting on a used (Toyota) OEM part, these are all certified and rated used parts. The auto body shop I use was originally recommended to me by insurance company (ALLSTATE) and I have continued with them due to the fact they do great work and follow stringent standards about releasing vehicles after the repair work is done.

I thank anyone in advance who responds to my post. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me on this one. I have only sold one car once before, so I am still new to the process. I find it rather intimidating, but know I really should not.
