First, thanks for all help in
advance...

1. How does one handle the Typical Toyota problem of
Front end, fender rust? I'm starting to see nickel size
atches along the fender and front, bottom valence, where
the ground effects rub. I looked up a local
fiberglass racing shop and plan to contact them about
creating a one piece clip that incorporates the ground
effects from the rear fender, under the door, replace the
fender, cover the front and back down the other side. I
figure this will eliminate the rust issue, allow for any
minor changes, such as room for fog lamps, personalize
"MY" car and smooth out the gaps created by "added-on"
ground effects.

2. Has anybody tried to slip a V6
into one of these. I received a response from Dave
Held of Held Motorsports. They manufacture replacement
engine cradles for Fieros and says that lengthening the
MR2 frame would allow for a new cradle and engine.
I'm just wondering if cutting out the trunk and
slipping the new subframe underneath would keep the
original lines intact...

3. Has anybody tried
cutting the top off an MK1?

Please share any
thoughts!
