Hello .

I have just received my news Toyota Hiace 1992 automatic LH119v 4X4 camper Pop-Up roof from Japan.

It seems. I have a problem with the transmission, the change of gears gos well from the 1st to the 2nd but I ned to release the accelerator if I want it to go in 3rd gear. The over drive lock Ok.
Oil in the transmission is gray !!! Have you got advises for me ?

I will be changing the oil in the transmission a few time...

Assuming the transmission is not totally stuffed by now, you will need to have it properly flushed out by an automotive service centre.

If the oil is grey that means it has a lot of metal deposit in it - something has been wearing badly!

I suspect you will have to have the transmission pulled out and overhauled.

Changing the fluid will not cure this problem.
