Hey fellas wassup. I've been looking to purchase a Hiace Super Custom van 3.0 turbo diesel. But for the life of me i can't find any info on how many kilos load it can carry with the seats out. I need the seats occasionally for the family, otherwise i would go for a more conventional Hiace. But i will also need to shuffle some serious weight around (approx 800kg) every now and then. Can it do it. Or should i stop kidding myself and get the less kid friendly van? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx (IMG:style_emoticons/default/57.gif)

Hi Rich

I'm not sure. I carried a bit less than that in my Super Custom Limited (2.8), which is i think 180 kg more than your vehicle. It was pushing it, but then again I had a much weaker engine. I think these buses have the same rear axle as the Hilux. Carrying capacity for those might be easier to find out, as they are trucks!

Cheers,
-Pard
