How to install HID kit for Corolla (not including relay kit) FIRST turn off engine and take key out of igniton and turn off all lights.

-STEP 1, attach the ballasts to a safe and dry place in the engine compartment (for the drivers side ballast, there is a tight spot between the fusebox and battery right behind the headlight assembly, assuming your car is left hand drive, for this you will need to remove the battery to have enought room for your hands to do the work and put the battery back), for the passenger side ballast, you can attach it to the black hose that runs from the firewall to where the alternator is, so the ballast will be positioned right behind the steering fluid tank.

-STEP 2, attach xenon bulb wires to the ballast wires (match wire colors correctly), then remove the stock bulb and wire and insert the xenon bulb into the headlight, make sure you lock and secure it properly, then secure the wires, make sure they are waterproof (most HID kit wires are water proof, if not then wrap them in electrical tape).

STEP 3, disconnect the daytime-running-lights system, http://www.9thgencorolla.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25249

If it doesnt come with instructions, first thing you do is leave your car off and take the + side of the battery off. Take the ballasts and figure out where to put them. I put mine I believe next to the window washer box thing. I took out the old Oem lights and plugged the wires for the ballast and wiring to the oem lights to the HIds. Do the same with the other side but make sure you dont mix the wires around. Have the long wire go around the engine bay, not across it or the wires will melt. Put the other ballast near the intake. Drill em in and you're set. It takes around 30 minutes or so to figure it out. But if you need more help, Ill e glad to help you. I drive a 2006 also : ) I forgot. When you put the wiring to the battery, place the red wire on the + positive and ground the black wire. I put the black wire under one of the bolts on the right hand side near the front of the car.
