I got a 2002 Celica GT and I'm also looking for sum HID lights. Anyone got any suggestions. As for the cut-off, the Celica got a nice cut-off and a projector, so you just need to get the HID lights.

I've gone through about 3 HID kits already and the last one I bought was by far the best (and cheapest! )

real easy to install yourself.

Bought from a friend for $200 but saw on the company website it was on sale for 150. I'll post the link later when I get home.

That would be a cool do it yourself project, if it's easy. If it isn't it would be an "OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" mess!

d'oh! forgot to get the company name (I promise to get that info later today)... the hardest part of installing was taking out the headlights and finding a good place to mount the ballast/ignitor.

I recommend completely removing the headlights and working from there. the instructions were really not that helpful but since I've already gone through like 2 other hid kits, I knew the gist of it.

k...the brand of HID I have on my car is Techone. I bought it for $200 but I think I've seen it online for cheaper. Anyhow, here's their main site -

you will need H7 bulbs.

I would go for 6000K but its down to choice, and what laws are in your country as regard to headlight colours
