Hi,
I drive a 2004 Hilux Raised Body Double Cab 4x2 (difflock) with 3.0 Turbodiesel engine. I love this pickup.

Only have one problem. When driving it down at sea level the brakes keep on binding. It feels like you are pulling away with the parking brake applied. You need to hook your foot behind the pedal and pull it forward to disengage the brakes. Problem not experienced when travelling at higher altitudes.

Anyone experience this and is their a solution?

Yo whats up, I don´t know if i experience that i have a 2005 4x4 3.0 turbodiesel intercooler Hilux which is made in Brasil and sent to most of Latin Amercia, they do this because the labor is cheaper in brasil and easier to get the cars to all of South Central America. I had my disc brakes burn out in 3 months! i think there about to go again! I have ordered a new set of or break pads high performance brake pads!!!!!! The suckeist thing about the Hilux! is that it comes with rear DRUMSSSSSSSSSSS! i would think that this car would have disc break all around!
