I have a single cab Hilux, with the dicky seat in the middle. It's not really a seat, but gets you by when required. The main trouble is that it's a pain to change gears. Plus I think the truck gear stick is a real over-kill.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket short shift gear sticks, that'll take about two-three inches off the gear stick?

I know that there are companies that supply short shift gear sticks for Holden and Ford to bolt straight into their manual gearboxes. Any one know of anyone for Hilux?

The only place I know of is LC Engineering in the states who make performance parts for Hilux's (Tacoma's in the states) and Hiace Vans.

The short shifter isn't actually physically shorter, i.e. it will sit at the same height but you will only have to move it a small amount.
