Hi Everyone
My name is Tony, I have just bought the latest Hilux Double Cab 4x4 Vigo Pickup. It is the 'G'Spec model imported from Thailand as this model is not available here in the UK at the moment.

Can anyone explain to my why one car is available in one country and not in another? Wouldn't it make more sense to offer it to anyone through the local dealership (although they might would charge a stocking fee to get it)?

I have found that the best resource on Hilux Vigo is at http://www.sonimotorsthailand.com/vigo.html. I bought my Vigo from Soni Motors (www.sonimotorsthailand.com) and am thoroughly satsified with my Vigo.
Thanks,

Hi folks it is John again. Some folks at Soni Motors read my posting here and informed me that I had the links wrong. Website http://www.sonimotorsthailand.com/ is the website for The Soni Group of Companies (TSGC) and not for Soni Motors. The website for Soni Motors (which is a subsidiary of TSGC) is http://www.sonirodban.com/ and subsequently the link for Vigo is http://www.sonirodban.com/vigo.html.

I'm curious of the difference between Toyota Hilux Vigo made in Thailand and Hilux made in Brazil.

Thanks,
John
