Hello,

I turned on the engine of my car Corolla, I heard hissing noise; I opened the hood, and it's from the engine;what's the cause for it, for your information ,the A/C was off.

Either a vacuum leak, check for any loose connections, or it could be hissing from the charcoal canister, which would be normal.
