Hey all! 1st post for me.

I own a 2007 Corolla LE and am looking to put a hitch on it. According to Uhaul's site, I can do so for just under $100. It looks relatively easy to install (4 bolts, see ), but I'm confused about the wiring. It says that the wiring access location is "PC3, PC4". So...where's that at? I assume it's in the back, but where?

Thanks!

I don't know about the PC3 or PC4 but typically after market wiring for hitches goes through your tail lights. We had Uhaul put one on my wifes Highlander and they installed the wiring to the inside access door for the drivers side tail light. You would roll the wiring up and store it in the opening behing the access door. When you use it, you would open the door and let the wire hang out the rear hatch. I have an 08 Corolla and there is access to the rear tail lights through the trunk. Check out etrailer.com, they have hitches and the wiring for your Corolla. I suggest not using Uhaul, I wasn't very happy with them.

I take it there's no little box that I can plug it into then...I have to cut the wires and feed them into the wiring harness?

I did go ahead and get the hitch from Uhaul.com. Not bad. (I bought it on a Saturday and got it on the following Tuesday and shipping was included in the price!) 4 bolts to screw in and that was it. The most difficult part was trying to hold the hitch while trying to screw the first bolt in. After that it was a breeze.

I did go to etrailer.com for the ballmount, as I couldn't find the U-Haul suggested ballmount anywhere else. Once I find the trailer I want to get, I'll get the right size ball for the ballmount. Other than that, my biggest issue is the wiring component. I guess PC3 or PC4 does make sense if it's the little tail light access points.

If anyone else has something to add, I'm open!

Thanks!
