i have a 1996 tacoma with 360,000 miles, when the engine gets hot and i turn it off for about 10 min. and go to start it again it will not start untill the engine cools off what could be the problem? I have gave it a complete tuned up (spark plugs, wires, 02 sensors, fuel filter, ect) i even replaced the fuel pump thinking that might solve the problem. i jus rencently changed the ignition coil thinking that might of help, but it didnt, any other ideas will be helpful.

i also want to say the truck runs fine after i get it started, runs really good, just when it gets hot and i try to start it jus keep turning over like it isn't getting any fuel!

Hot as in overheats? Or just hot as in normal operating temp?

Assuming it's normal operating temp, I would look at everything in the ignition system. Get it up to temp and the point it won't start, then plug an old spark plug, have a friend crank it, and check for a nice hot blue spark.

Yes, that is at normal engine temp. it does not run hot at all. Jus a couple of days ago we replaced the spark plugs and wires and i am still having the same problem. What about fuel, do u think it might have sumthing to do with the fuel? Thanks for your tips.
