Hey people just wondering if anyone knows how to lower a hilux 95 model but still keeping it legal?

In all states in Australia, it is illegal to modify your suspension on a commercial vehicle, same with wheels too.

To get around this you would need to get an engineers report clearing it and then go through the pits in whatever state you are in.

If you use lowering blocks, they will never pass, the best option is lowered rear leafs made by King Springs but they are about $400, the second best option is to have your leaf springs rolled to lower them but they become brittle and can break if not done properly. For the front, I am pretty sure you have torsion bars which can be wound down easily using a ratchet.

Either way, the lux's look great low, mines about 3 inches lower but might go to four soon but its a bumpy ride.
