We are thinking about buying a truck. Of course... we wouldn't even consider any truck except for Toyota.

I'd love to hear about your truck. Tell me about how much you love it, and how long you've had it.

My husband is wanting a new Tundra, but I am wondering about buying an older model.

Tell me all about why you love yours!
Stephanie

By friend just bought a blue tundra and it's a great truck. We hauled furniture in it and it was a great comfortable ride. I'm getting one soon myself. Great truck from what I see of my friends.

I own a 2001 Tundra, and the only issues I have is the constant brake problem Toyota will not accept.
After 15-20,000 mi, you will warp rotors, and drums. Toyota has a fix, 50% cost if under warranty, or full price if not.
the fix? replace front rotors, and calipers with spindles, and rear axles, drums, backing plates, etc...$2000.00-2500.00. This has been a thorn in their sides since 1999, and they will not fix the problem. Oh, I'm wrong, MEET THE NEW 2007 TOYOTA TUNDRA!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif) So... it's still a great truck, and the fuel economy is about the same as my old Suburban

Stephanie, my nephew has driven his Tundra for over 200,000 miles and STILL loves it. It's never caused him a seconds worth of trouble.

HI
I BOUGHT A NEW 07 TUNDRA 5.7L DOUBLE CAD 4X4 AND ILL TELL YA I NEVER ONCE SECOND GUESSED MY DECISION. IT IS THE BEST TRUCK IVE EVER BEEN IN OR HAVE DRIVEN. I TESTED A DODGE BEFORE I BOUGHT THIS ONE AND THIS DRIVES MUCH BETER AND HAS MORE POWER AND STILL GIVES BETER MILAGE. I SUGGEST THE 5.7 BECAUSE OF THE POWER AND IT REALLY DOES GIVE U MORE MILAGE THAN THE 4.7L. I CANT BRAG UP THESE TRUCKS ENOUGH, THE ONLY THING I SHOULD OF ADDED WAS LIMITED EDITION. THE CLOTH IS VERY NICE BUT THE HAIR STICKS TO IT. NOT A BIG DEAL, BUT IT SAVED ME ALOT OF DOLLARS. ALL SAID I WOULD NOT CONSIDER BUYING ANYTHING BUT A TOYOTA. I KNOW U POSTED THIS A WHILE BACK BUT I HOPE IT HELPED.

I have just purchased a 2003 Tundra, Access Cab, 4.7, V8.
So far it has been very good. I had to drive it from Vancouver to Edmonton, and it snowed practically all the way. It is about a 13-14 hour trip and the snow storms I had to drive through were wild. I eventually had to stop in Blue River because i just could not see anything ahead of me it was snowing so hard. Other than a couple of times where my tail end of the truck wanted to slip out on me(light arse end and bigger engine, plus slippery conditions), once I put it into 4 wheel drive(which was early on in the trip), it handled great. Comfortable ride, good control, not too bad on fuel. So far it has definitely been worth it. It has only been a week though.
I am a Camry owner for over 13 years. I am stuk on Toyota, cause Toyota's stuck on me.
