I'm posting this for a co-worker.. She went to Toyota with her low mileage Highlander and they said that she needed a new oxygen sensor.. They quoted $500 to replace it. I looked up the sensor on Ebay and found a replacement sensor for $25 ($35 including shipping). So, I wonder if it's that much work on that vehicle to replace that sensor or are they trying to rip her off? I have replaced oxygen sensors on other vehicles and it usually takes 5 minutes or so do do it.. Is the sensor easily accessible?
Any input will be appreciated!
