Some crazy person destroyed my driver side rear view mirror. I had to purchase a new one but don't know how to install. HELP!

I was alomost able to take it off by unscrewing three screws but this was also attached to a cable, electrical wire. I didn't know how to disconnect the wire and still trying to figure out about the attached wire removal. Maybe I need to take driver side door panel off to disconnect. Any clue would be greatly appreciated.

I just joined this forum. It's late, but maybe my answer will help other people to fix the same problem.

On power mirror equipped models, you need to remove the door trim panel and the plastic watershield then disconnect the electrical connector.
