My friend's 04 Celica had moisture in the headlight assembly. We are looking at replacing both sides, he has the new parts but ran into trouble getting the old ones out. Has anyone done this and can you tell me the steps required to remove them. He said he removed all of the fasteners he saw but there appears to be another attachment he couldn't reach.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) Snap! If you have a mechanic replace the headlights it probably takes a couple hours at $75 a pop. That really adds to the cost of those snazzy black headlights my friend bought.
I think maybe he and I should just fiberglass them in and put the lights below the bumper like the fog lights.

Ahh, yes it is a Japanese car. But we live in America and in America Chuck Norris always wins. I think he killed Godzilla in front of Baby Godzilla, took the car and told Baby Godzilla that he (Chuck Norris) is his Daddy now!

So, now we can expect a Chuck Norris movie, co-starring baby Godzilla, where they take on the world with round house kicks? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

I think Chuck Norris has killed everybody except in this forum except you and I because it sure seems dead.
You know what they say... If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you. If you can't see Chuck Norris you may be only seconds away from death. Well, darn it, I can't see him.

It's fairly easy to disassemble. No need to remove the bumper. There's about 3 10mm nuts - 1 at the top of the headlight, 1 at the center right about the radiator and one on the side which can only be reached via the wheel well.
