Hi everyone,
Just happened to find this web site when I googled for some answers for how to replace the rear stop lights for my 1989 Toyota Cressida 3.0L w/ 7M_GE engine. After I removed everything out that covers the rear part of the trunk, I could not find any bolts/screws to hold the rear light assembly except the two plastic clips(just used pliers to clip them together and pushed it out to loose it) and two screws that hold the top assembly underneath the black plastic molding. I had the Toyota shop Manual which doesn't have any pics. or diagram to tell u how to remove the rear light assembly. I don't want to push it too hard to break it, it'll cost me $200-300 for each, so please, anyone have any ideas how to remove it, I would appreciate it.

TIA,
With best regards,

easyrider8.
