Hey, i just got a job. And I wanted to get a new car, and that car is definitely a caldina gt-four, anybody here from brunei!? I found one near airport lama, and it cos $48,000.00 (equivalent to singapore dollar). What makes me want to own one is because of the full spec it has compare to any care available from agent. I mean, the sunroof, the multi av station, the reverse camera, the seats, the 4wd system, the engines, the beauty of the design, the space it has,..... its too much! i want one!

Anybody willing to tell whats the different of the N and the C edition? Any review from caldina owners? doesnt matter the engine, its the built that matters.

Actually, the Caldina GT-Four come with 3 editions..

1. Caldina GT-Four C edition
2. Caldina GT-Four
3. Caldina GT-Four N edition

of course the N edition is the higher spec while the C edition is the lower spec.But basically, both have the same 2.0 4th gen 3S-GTE engine. and

The difference are

Caldina GT-Four N edition- Recaro seat, Strut Bar, LSD ( Limited Slip Differential).
Caldina GT-Four C edition- Normal seat,No strut Bar and LSD...the rest are the same except for some optional accessories such as sun roof, front camera and etc...for more info, try to find from the net..

But you do know that, there are lack of infos of caldina on the net (other than http://toyota.jp/caldina/). Since you own one. Hows the car? easy to maintain? any parts replaced recently? how fast did you get the replacement (or kau cari di amw spare part saja? heheh). Did toyota agent accept caldina for maintenance? oh the questionsssss so much to askk!

I checked on batfa.com, the cost of importing new caldina gt four plus shipments is roughly under $42,000.00, arghhh so cheap.

Have you try BKB (Bengkel Kereta Berakas) or the one near the tungku link fly over..if i not mistaken, they still got the car but not sure either its a GT-Four or ZT..

About my cald..so far so good, no prob with the engine..and the parts, its might be hard to find since its used to be a JDM car..but i think it should be simillar with the mr2 engine but not all parts can be applied..
if we cannot find the part here, then i guess we have to order it from japan..actually, its a bit risky to own this car though..hopefully i can maintain it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

it hard to order or importing the used car individually. Here in Brunei, we have to deal with the authorised company such as the BKB..and now, i heard they are not going to except any request from the customer..they will only sell all the car they got in their garage..( i guess, they do have alot of used car that are for sell..but still no customer want to buy it). I dont mind about getting spare parts or replacement, since I already used to order/import spare parts directly from japan and waiting for at least a week (last time I ordered corolla engine TWICE direct from japs because my brother is a moronic driver) now I m leaving him with a vios (lets see how he wrecked that thing).
