I ordered my Prius 2 weeks ago and the wait is KILLING ME!!! I live in Portland Oregon and ordered from Ron Tonkin Toyota. How long has everyones average wait been, and how did the pick-up go?

Heh. Don't worry, you'll somehow live through this ordeal. <br>I ordered our Prius November of last year and finally got the call from Toyota Ordering Center two weeks ago. The car should be here for pickup at any moment. So for me, it took approximately 3 months before I received the soon to be delivered phone call.<br><br>A good way to pass the time is to just log on to the other Prius club sites and chat until it comes. Seems to make the time go by more quickly.<br>: )

I got my reservation mid-October, got my car on<br>President's Day, Feb. 19.<br><br>I drove from Bend to Beaverton via Mt. Hood,<br>approx 180mi, 42MPG.<br><br>It's worth the wait.<br><br>Patience, Grasshopper...<br><br>tony o.

I ordered from Dick Hannah Toyota in late November and am still waiting. I received the confirmation e mail from Toyota and the dealer checked and said the order was in. I have received no word from Toyota. I have bugged the dealer a few times. According to dealer information, my Prius is to be assembled in March and delivered in April. Based on the fact that some November orders have arrived, I'm hoping that mine is being manufactured this month (Feb) -- but who knows. It's a long wait. Then it took another 2 months before I could even place an order. Following that, June, July, and August 2000 became the longest summer of my life. Each day seemed like an eternity. But after 8 months of waiting, I got her... and it was DEFINITELY WORTH IT.<br><br>One of the goals of my website is to help make the wait for others easier.
