Hi all,

I feel vibration on my brake padel when I drive but I did not brake, yet.
I touched the top wall above the brake/accelerate padels and feel it vibrate, too.
I mean viberate like a shaver. The brake padel does not vibrate when I brake or stop.
Any comment on this?

Regards,

KL

Do you have ABS brakes? That can tend to give a slight vibration if you press lightly. Try pressing a little harder. If the vibration goes away, it might be the ABS effect. If not then you might want to get the brakes checked.

It could be the exhaust itself vibrating on something. Check the exhaust system out. and also I sometimes got a vibration under my feat when my arbs were shot.have the wheels been balanced recently? Could be flat spots in the tyre or rim.

Hi kenlee108,

First, have your tires balanced, and if needed, rotated. Have the tire tech check the tread for broken belts. These are rare events, but do happen from time to time.

If this does not cure your problem, you may have a dragging brake caliper. Check the wheels (especially the front) after a short drive for excessive heat by holding your hand near the wheels. Be careful touching them, as you may get burned if the calipers are dragging. If one is excessively hot compared to the others, then that caliper may be dragging. You may also notice a slight burning brake odor. This costs fuel and increased wear and tear. Have the slide pins for that caliper lubricated. If this doesn't fix the problem, then the caliper and its hose may need replaced, since the piston is sticking.

Good Luck!
