This morning I got "THE call" from Toyota letting me know that my "loaded" Super White 2002 US Prius is due in Southern CA at Long Beach on or about August 22! It should be delivered to my local dealer in Northern CA (SF East Bay) within 1-2 weeks after that. Yippee (again)!* I'm eager to use and report on its new GPS navigation system. As a few lucky others have previously reported, it's as much fun to get a 2nd Prius as the 1st Prius. Plus, Prius #2 will be loaded with all '02 options. Can't wait ... ;-)

Wow... envy of you.<br>I never got any email from Toyota, but got a confirmation number from dealer.<br>I guess that should do it... I ordered in July 6th, hopefully it will get to my dealer sometime in October.<br><br>I am especially interested in the NAV system, and its ability to add a TV tuner. I read in the Japanese website that it is 'optional' to add a TV tuner. Since both US and Japan are NTSC, I am pretty sure it can be done... By the way, I am in the Bay Area as well.... I know you posted this information before but I can't find it because there is no search function.<br><br>Anyway, where did you get a long term Prius rental? How much is it?<br><br>We just ordered our second Prius (Brilliant Blue/Nav/DRL/Side Air/Cruise) to replace our totalled minivan (rear ended, thankfully no injuries). I would have ordered an Estima hybrid but we all know they're not available here yet.<br><br> arnold
