Hello again,
Looks like I'm in sort-of a jam
again... and need some help.
I started getting
everything ready to go back together (good thing I didn't
bolt the engine in yet) and soon discovered that my
clutch fork does not extend out long enough for the
clutch slave cylinder plunger to engage it properly in
the fork's dimple, it's about a half inch
short.
Apparently, the guy who traded me the W-56 transmission
inadvertently gave me an early type clutch fork. This fork
measures 8 3/8 inch from
one of the forked ends to the
opposite end, and I figure the longer fork should be about
a full inch or more longer.
Anyone have a late
model RWD clutch fork hanging around that they could
possible measure and then let me know what it came out
of?... or maybe even sell it to me?
Thanks and Merry
Christmas,
-Drew
