I've been had!! I've not long bought my GTR and finding a few things needs repairing; contrary to what the seller told me. The car supposed to have done just 60,000 miles and I think is burning oil already! Is this a possible? Or could it have been clocked? It's going to cost me ?300 to ?400 to put some of the things right (not including engine).

I've done 700 miles and i've put 1.5 LT of oil in it. I can also smell the burnt oil when I turn the heating fan on. The rear off- side Shocher Gaiter is torn to shreds!

i use 1 litre every 1000 miles, check the cam cover gasket for leaks, if you can smell it through the heating it suggests the leak is under the bonnet and not you burning oil.

probably not much, but it could be where the smell is comming from...  If it ain't smoking out of the back It would suggest a gasket is leaking somewhere....
