When I went to have my new (used) car's oil change, the mechanic told me I had a _______ air filter (I can't remember what kind he said) and that it would never have to be changed. He said I could by a chemical cleaner for it at the auto parts store. He also said that it was really suppose to improve gas milage. Does anyone know what exactly he is talking about?

K & N is the name of the brand! It is supposed to work well. Just ask for the chemical cleaner for a K & N air filter. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/57.gif)

Thank you so much. Would you believe I still haven't gotten around to looking for myself. By the time I get everyone loaded up to go somewhere, I forget to look. When I look on here and think about looking, it's night and I'm too tired (i.e. lazy) to go out and look.
