Hey All,

Just subscribed here because I'm wondering how to get more power out of my 94 pickup V6. I already put a K&N air filter but going up the mountains on the interstate is slow going. I need third gear and only at 50-55mph.

I just bought my truck. I love it but I sure would like a little more power from it.

Thanks in advance!

There's really you can do at such a high elevation like Denver, maybe some new headers and a more free flowing exhaust.

The 3.0L V6 is a dog of an engine at 150HP. Nothing short of a shot of NOS is doing to do anything worth the money. By the time you get the intake and exhaust opened up and drop in a better cam, you could have done the 3.4L swap for about the same $$.
