Toyota Forums _ Toyota Tacoma Forum _ Lowering A 2009 Trd

Hello, All.

Another question from a new owner of a 2009 2WD PreRunner TRD crew cab....

I would like to lower my Toy about 2-3" in front and 4-6" in back (enough to level it out) while still retaining the "tuned" TRD springs and shocks (since I already paid extra for those options). I'm thinking along the lines of modified/aftermarket front spindles and rear spring/shock mounting components. Does such a kit or combination of aftermarket components exist? If so, from whom???

This stuff is easily attainable for Chevy, Ford and Doge trucks, but I haven't found anything for the Tacoma.

I'm not looking to slam the truck, just bring it down enough to fill the wheel wells with the stock wheels/tires (kinda like a passenger car).

Also, I realize that I'll have to rear install air bags to regain my load carrying capabilities.

Anyway, any ideas???

Thanks in advance,
Dan Gerber
