Our 02 Sequoia just started with the following: Sometimes at startup the radio resets and loses all of the preset stations. Not a major thing but it's getting annoying. Could the radio be going bad? I doubt it's a fuse as the radio would not function. Now, I think (have not verified) that when this happens, the presets on the AC also get cleared. What could be causing this?

Well, yesterday the battery just died. Bought a new one, replaced it and since then the radio and ac presets have not reset. My guess is that the battery was failing (probably one fried cell) and when cranked the voltage dropped enough to clear presets but there was enough juice (amperage) to turn the engine over. Problem solved, unfortunately it was the hard way as the truck left my wife stranded until I got there.
