when I start my 1995 avalon the acceleration goes all the way up for no apparent reason! Over 200K miles, and hate to spend money on it at this point. any ideas out there? Thank you
If the gas pedal goes to the floor and doesn't return you may have a broken throttle linkage or a broken/missing return spring. It will require someone to eyeball it.
If that's not the issue - you might want to plan on having it looked at by a mechanic.
