Hi all. As I said in a post the other day. I am a new Toyota owner. Just curious if I need to be on the look out for any unknowns that occur frequently. I have owned GM or Dodge vehicles. I love the slant 6 from Dodge. I have a standard 94 pick up. I do not really go 4 wheeling, but do go kayaking and do encountered access roads and the like.I am in NJ and go to the pinelands quite a bit. Not really bad terrain where I usually go The lift of the truck should be fine as is for my needs. However, I am curious as to whether I can improve clearance a tad with using shocks .ALSO, anyone with a standard every try it on the beach or dunes, curious if it is light enough to make it on a beach? Any recommendations or DONT DOs?
I am hoping to post pics tonight or tomorrow, I did some rust removal, small spots, but have it taped and papered , waiting to finish then post them.

Thanks for any help you give

Currently the truck is just standard pick up

Springs lift a vehicle, not shocks.

Air the tires way down when driving on sand, you want to float on top, not dig in.
