I called my local Toyota dealership and asked about the price of the cruise control part # 08501-47801 and got a quote of $220.00.<br>As far as labor goes, they don't know and think it?s about a 5-hour job stating there is probably an actuator that needs to be installed. I informed them that there is no actuator installation, just the stalk on the steering wheel and the brake switch as far as I know. The Prius is already set for CC and just needs these parts.<br><br>Has anyone else gotten quotes?<br><br>-Jim in Hollywood CA.

Just ordered cruise retrofit from Frontier Toyota in Valencia, CA. $193.31 ($208.77 w/tax) for the parts kit. $130 labor (2 hrs). $338.77 total. FYI.<br><br>Michael<br>"01 Prius"

I just recieved noticed that my dealer will be selling the cruise kit for $240+ installation, why the difference in pricing? its MSRP is supposedly $220.

We have two Priuses on order at Miller Toyota of Culver city and they quoted us the same $220.00 per car.<br><br>Mark

Mark:<br><br>$227.50 is MSRP list price. FYI, Frontier Toyota in Valencia quoted me $193.31 for the retrofit kit plus tax. Guess I caught the parts guy on a good day!<br><br>-Michael<br>CA plate "01 PRIUS"

What new CC kit? i knew of the old $600 price but now there's something about $220?! i ordered cruise control and brake switch for $150. i will do the labor myself, is that the new cc kit you're refering to?
