Ok my stepson asked if he could use my truck to take care of some personal stuff. I said sure but the truck could use an oil change and if you do that for me then you can use the truck. He agreed. I'm at work and about 12ish I get a call from my wife. She said that my stepson was done with the oil change and she thinks he may have used an entire 5 quart jug that I bought because she seen it in the garage and it was empty. WOT?!? The truck has a 2.4 liter 22r engine and takes 3 1/2 quarts if I'm correct but he emptied the whole jug! He called a few minutes later and confirmed it. I told him that he would have to empty some of the oil. Too much!! He said ok and then I got a call about 20 minutes later. He said that he couldn't take off the drain plug. It was stripped!!! Wut the!! He had to get to court so because of that I said to try the truck and hopefully it will be ok. He's done oil changes before so I didn't see a problem but he doesn't work on cars that often. He took the truck but if kept stopping on him and finally wouldn't start at all. I got another call saying he was stranded and couldn't get the truck started. I asked him to look at the oil again and he said that the oil looked bubbly and white which told me that the oil is in the crank assemby and it being whipped. Not good!! After I got out of work a friend of mine helped me tow the truck home and when I opened the hood all I could smell was oil. I'm thinking that because there was so much oil and the presure it may have sent the oil up through the rings and into the cylinders. I'm sure the plugs are fouled up!! Hopefully the oil will drain back into the oil pan and maybe I can switch out the plug and it will start up. Can oil get into the cylinders because of that? It's a first for me!!

reminds me of the time that my son borrowed my little ford pinto. I got home that night and found the pinto would'nt run---what the heck, I've driven that pinto all over the state of Washington.

found the #3 piston and partof the rod went thru the cylinder wall.

But Dad, the kid said, I was just backing it out of the driveway. Sure you were.

Much later, the truth came out, he was showing his friends how fast it would in low gear,
