Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum and would like to get some feedback / suggestions for the problem currently I'm facing.
I have 2001 Avalon XLS with original JBL audio system installed. It was working fine all these days and after very next day of my 120K service at Toyota service center, my audio system stopped taking CDs. It just pushes out any audio CD that I try to load on the system. Apart from CD, other options like AM, FM, TAPE are working fine.
It is a 6 CD changer and it is not taking even a single CD. To my surprise, I do not see any error code displayed on the system.
I took my car bake to the Toyota service center which provided 120K service and told them that this problem happened immediately after the service. But the Toyota guys said that the problem is nothing to do with the 120K service they performed. However the service guy provided me a contact number of a audio repair service center (his buddy ?) to contact for any help / fix. When I called the repair service center and I explained the problem I'm facing, he informed me that it might cost a minimum of $ 325/- and more, based on the ciritcality of the problem.
As some of the forums and websites suggested, I disconnected the -ve terminal of the car battery for a while and reconnected assuming that it would reset my audio system. But the problem still exist.
Guys, if any of you have experienced this problem, please let me know how I can fix this issue. Thanks for your help and support.
