1980 Celica With 18r-g Project Car Options

Hey guys. Sitting in my back yard I have a 1980 Celica with an 18R-G (with head markings 11111-88270). I bought the whole car for $250 dollars befor i knew really anything about cars. A year or so later I realized that the 22R motor dosent come with dual side mounted mikuni carburetors. Now Im ready to really make somthing of this rig I have sitting in my backyard. I just sold my truck for $1,500 so thats how much i have to work with. I need some of you vets out there to give me a To-Do list of things i can start doing to get this rig going in the right direction. This is my first project car (but hopfully not my last) So be spacific on what to do. Anything you guys can help me with will be greatly appreciated.
