Hey All- I'm new to this forum and am curious if anyone has any experience with modifying the Air filter box to receive easier air flow and possible increase in mpg's and horsepower. I have purchased (though not yet installed) a K&N air filter, and am considering adding the tornado air swirl unit as well. My recently purchased 2000' Tacoma PU has been getting just barely 20 mpg and I am hoping to be able to nudge it closer to 25mpg. Is this a resonable expectation, and are there some cautions I should be aware of? Thanks for your help, I'm sure there are some sage wrench turners who have been around this block before.
