I have an 1983 Toyota Landcuiser. A hose underneath the engine (i belive running FROM the radiator) busted.. I replaced it and it still over heats. I just replaced the thermostat but problem has not been solved. I don;t know if i put in the right thermostat.. it looked different from the old one.

It overheats within minutes of driving. What i;ve noticed is the resevoir tank "boils" but after the engine had been off for several minuted all of the fluid is than obsorbed by the radiator.

Does anyone have any suggestions? comments? can it be the water pump?
